Youth Competency Assessment Training Manual

The Youth Competency Assessment (YCA) Training Manual is intended to supplement training in strength-based philosophy and the YCA that is provided by NPC Research, the developers of the YCA.

If you or your department/agency are planning to use the material in the Manual as part of a training that you are facilitating (without involving NPC), you will want to download the YCA Trainers' Guide that may also be found at this Web site. The Trainers' Guide briefly discusses each piece of the Manual and provides explanations for how to use the exercises. The Guide will enable you to make the best use of the material in the Manual that is possible without benefit of the formal training.

If you have any questions about the Training Manual, the Trainers' Guide, how to use this material, or how you may arrange for a training, please contact Juliette Mackin or Judy Weller at NPC Research, (503) 243-2436, mackin@npcresearch.com.

The PDF file below of the complete training manual is large and may take up to several minutes to open, depending on your Internet connection speed.
