Kimberly Pukstas, Ph.D.

Research Consultant

Kimberly Pukstas, Research Consultant to NPC Research, joined the company as a post-doctoral fellow and later served as a Research Associate, working on evaluations in substance use treatment, criminal justice and drug courts. Now based in Augusta, Maine, she continues to work with NPC as a consultant. Her experience includes developing evaluation methodology, creating surveys and questionnaires, managing data collection and data analysis.

Prior to joining NPC Research, Dr. Pukstas was a project manager for a cultural competency intervention and evaluation research project at Boston University. She worked in the public sector for the Executive Office of Administration and Finance for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In this role, she received a plaque in 2002 for Recognition of Outstanding Service from the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services. She has also worked as a researcher with the Center for Support of Families and the Treatment Research Institute. Dr. Pukstas earned her doctorate in Social Policy with the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
