Mark Waller, Cost Analyst/Research Specialist at NPC Research, specializes in the gathering and management of cost and utilization data, cost analysis, and the coordination of research efforts, along with grants management. He has worked in the areas of youth mentoring and gang prevention, early literacy programs, environmental projects, and drug court evaluations. Mr. Waller’s current work includes process, cost, and outcome evaluations for 5 drug courts in Florida, a cost and outcome evaluation of 10 drug courts in New York, and a cost and outcome evaluation of 7 Healthy Start programs in Oregon.

Mr. Waller is experienced in coordinating research and evaluation efforts and conducting cost analysis, providing direct assistance to Senior Research Associates. His primary responsibilities include data management of large administrative databases, coordinating data collection efforts, collecting and analyzing cost and utilization data, evaluation and research planning, supervising staff, instrument development, creating data storage systems and databases, conducting key informant interviews, and drafting and editing reports. Mr. Waller has worked on grant writing teams and helps in writing proposals and developing and managing budgets.

Mr. Waller earned his Bachelor of Arts in Geography at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
